it’s a long story

When you partner with a healthcare system for 18 years, you’re bound to see it all. In turning Texas Health into the largest healthcare network in North Texas, we helped them navigate:

  • System consolidation and renaming/rebranding
  • New product and facility naming
  • Comprehensive brand architecture
  • New facility launches
  • Crisis communication
  • Digital transformation
  • High-volume day-to-day operational marketing
  • Service line growth
  • Joint venture and partnership strategy and marketing

It would be faster to say what we didn’t do for them, because there was nothing we didn’t do. From writing executive speeches to gaining back public trust after the only U.S. Ebola case, we took on nearly every major inflection point a healthcare organization can experience. We weren’t just their agency of record; we were their long-term brand steward. Managing the brand’s evolution came from a partnership built on consistency, discipline, and trust over time.

A Brand is Born

Initial campaigns were all about the merging of Presbyterian, Harris Methodist and Arlington Memorial hospitals to become Texas Health. We introduced the new Texas Health brand with a look and tone familiar to current consumers to keep the messaging the main focus.

After the brand was established, it was time to give Texas Health a unique voice. While most systems pull at the heartstrings, we decided to connect with our consumers through humor. Especially in our service line work.

Seeing Green

Healthcare marketing is a sea of blue. So, we decided to lean into the other color of the Texas Health logo to stand out from the crowd.

Two Texas Health Resources ads: a shopping cart sign reading "If you're using this cart as a walker, let's talk. TexasHealth.org/Joints" and a billboard reading "Heart attack? Attack back

Three Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Allen ads promoting the Wound Care Program, featuring ointment, bandage tin, and hydrogen peroxide with the message that not all wounds heal the old-fashioned way

Wound Care - Service Line

The task was to convince people not to treat all wounds at home. While this can be a serious topic, we decided something as ugly as wounds needed a bit of humor. So, we handled it with the same Texas Health wit the brand became known for.

Two Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care print ads: Urgent Oops featuring a bike wheel crushed by a rock, and Urgent Ho Ho Whoa featuring a fallen ladder with tangled Christmas lights

Urgent Care Made Easy

Texas Health wanted to launch their own urgent care. From naming to brand identity design and positioning, we helped bring Breeze Urgent Care to life. Our focus was to drive awareness and early patient adoption with a clear value proposition and a look that felt modern, approachable, and consumer friendly.
