Completely rebuild the outdated DMN app into one people can’t put down – especially Millennials. In all honesty, they never started reading the paper, and have always consumed news differently. We needed to design an app to appeal to their idea of news. A shared, two-way conversation, not a one-way discourse.

Founded in 1885, The Dallas Morning News has long been a venerable paper. Bringing this 131-year-old institution into the digital age meant building an app with intuitive design directed not by the DMN, but by the users themselves. In a way that didn’t merely deliver news, but created a format for the exchange of ideas.
