So far, no one has caught on to the fact that Jeff has covertly paid most major design competitions and publications to include his work in their awards shows and annuals.

His design and illustration work has been recognized by Communication Arts, The Art Directors Club, Graphis, Print, the AR100, The Dallas Society of Visual Communications, The American Institute of Graphic Arts, and The American Advertising Federation. His marine biology work, not so much.
Over the course of his career, Jeff has produced identity, retail branding and investor communications for 7-Eleven, American Heart Association, Blockbuster, the Dallas Museum of Art, Fossil, Hallmark, Hasbro, IBM, KEXP Seattle, Neenah Paper, Pepsi, Sappi Fine Papers, Sony, W Hotels, and Yum! Brands.
Jeff is a past president of the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, and has served on its board of directors since 2001. He is a past Editor in Chief of ROUGH magazine, a monthly publication of the DSVC. And he even found time to serve on the board of directors for the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the AIGA.
Jeff has been asked to address a number of professional groups and university programs, and is honored to have judged several design competitions — including the Fox River Paper Show. He is very proud to be the co-founder of the National Student Show & Conference, the nation’s largest creative competition and conference designed for communication arts students, now in its fifth year.
